About Julia

Julia Jorgenson grew up in New Orleans, surrounded by a history filled with pirates, voodoo, and duck wars. Her love of storytelling originated in the bizarre, magical tales around her and continue to inspire the stories she writes.  

Julia has received a B.A. in English-Creative Writing from Louisiana State University and an M.A. in Writing for Young People from Bath Spa University.

She lives in a slightly crumbling cottage just off the Mississippi River, where she is always at work on her latest project. She is never ever binge-watching whatever new show has just been added to Netflix when she says she's definitely working on said latest project.
